pinky promises is a film about the claustrophobia of a small town. a place clouded by the mindset that dreaming, wanting to do something with your life, is a childish promise to make. two girls must face the task of aspiration, even in a town drained of life.

Lady of the Moon takes on loneliness in all of its numb and maladaptive poison. It becomes a different kind of pain to live only in your head. The girl, the Lady of the Moon, finds her convincing solace in place not many dare to look.
